In the Cedar Rapids office, the staff provides assistance in the following ministries: immigration legal services, counseling, and poverty reduction through case management services. In doing so, we help immigrants and refugees transition to the United States by obtaining citizenship, legal services, and uniting their families. We assist immigrants and refugees in making Iowa their new home.

Catholic Charities is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that helps people, regardless of their faith, who are struggling with poverty and other complex issues.
Our main office in Dubuque offers help in many areas, such as housing, counseling, jail and prison reentry services, poverty reduction, post-adoption search, disaster resources, immigration legal services, and pregnancy support. However, in the Cedar Rapids office, we mainly work with IMMIGRATION AND LEGAL SERVICES.
