Catherine McAuley Center programs serve distinct populations – immigrants, refugees, and women experiencing crisis.
Catholic Charities in Cedar Rapids primarily helps with IMMIGRATION LEGAL SERVICES; helping IMMIGRANTS to call Iowa their new HOME.
CVHFH is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope.
Central Furniture Rescue provides FURNITURE & HOUSEHOLD items at no cost to individuals and families who are transitioning out of homelessness and into their own places to live.
Matthew 25 believes HOUSING, FOOD, and EDUCATION are the building blocks of strong neighborhoods.
METRO CATHOLIC OUTREACH works to help with HOMELESS GRAB BAGS, HOUSING, RENT, and UTILITY Assistance, etc.
HOMELESS ASSISTANCE, including EVICTION PREVENTION, are administered in the Cedar Rapids metro region of St. Vincent de Paul Society. This service aims to help either the tenant or the homeless person to IDENTIFY their CHALLENGES and TO OVERCOME them.
