Green Square Meals started out as a soup kitchen, and it continues to strive to expand its offerings as new challenges in the community are presented. We are the only facility in Linn County that provides a free evening meal Monday through Friday. Not only does Green Square Meals offer hot, nutritious meals, but we are also able to provide a place for community fellowship.

Green Square Meals is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to providing aid and feeding the poor in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. For the last 40 years, Green Square Meals has been serving meals to the homeless and poverty-stricken in our community.
The only evening meal program in Cedar Rapids. We currently serve about 30,000 meals a year. Our doors are open to any person in need of a good hot meal.
