Volunteers are always needed at His Hands-Free Clinic. In fact, everything we do relies on the support and efforts of our volunteers! Common volunteer positions are described below. Check us out and see if we might be a good fit for your skills and passions. We also encourage interested professionals in related medical fields (EMT, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, etc.) to get involved.
Check-in Window at His Hands Free Clinic
His Hands-Free Clinic has been seeking to honor God by helping the uninsured and underinsured in our community. The clinic is a 501(c)3 nonprofit ministry providing free healthcare to Cedar Rapids and surrounding communities.
The Clinic Operates to bring glory to God by meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those without adequate resources. They offer medical, dental, chiropractic, diabetic education, prayer and spiritual support, patient education, physical therapy, as well as counseling and community resources.

OPPORTUNITIES
One-time Group Projects:
Various group projects include cleaning, painting, and providing extra supplies, medications (not opened or expired), New Bibles in select languages, monetary donations, snacks for our volunteers, and fundraising help. Contact us, and we will put your group to work!
Ongoing Individual Positions Available:
Prayer support, on-call interpreters for several different languages (including Spanish, French, Russian, and many others), door greeters, filing, making copies, answering phones, etc.
Professional Positions Available:
Providers: Nurses (RNs and LPNs), Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Assistants, Physicians, Chiropractors, Specialists, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Assistants, Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, Chiropractic, etc.
*At the present time, to apply to volunteer within a medical setting, one must be vaccinated.

All visits by appointment only, call during Office Hours to schedule. Please note, some evening clinics maybe canceled due to a lack of providers.
