Our volunteers are a key part of The Mercy Touch, making Mercy a special, caring place.  Since 1900, the Sisters of Mercy — guided by their vow "to care for the poor and for the sick" — established Mercy Hospital and laid the foundation for The Mercy Touch®. Although the faces and technologies have changed throughout the years, our vision and mission still reflect our commitment to continuing the Sisters' work today and for years in the future.

Ongoing Individual Positions Available:

There are many positions in all areas of Mercy: 

Hospice, respite care, calling to check on patients, gift shops, coffee shop, sorting mail, fixing wheelchairs, greeters, senior living volunteer, Family Caregivers Center volunteer, heart center volunteer, to all types of hospital volunteers.

A Volunteer Job Board is Coming Soon. 

Volunteers have the flexibility to volunteer in the way that best fits their schedules. From one time a week to one time a month, to four days a week. It is completely up to you. Mercy will work with you to find the best schedule for your life. You can even come volunteer with your spouse. 

*To apply in a medical setting, one must be a minimum of 14 years old and vaccinated.
